Who says getting around the city has to mean traffic jams and car parks? Our lovely client had the best time exploring Brisbane aboard the City Cat ferry - gliding along the iconic river with fantastic view of the city.

With our support worker by his side, the ferry ride went smoothly - passing under beautiful Brisbane’s bridges, watching preparations for the upcoming River Fire, and soaking up the views you just can’t get from behind a car windscreen.

For many of our clients, community access is more than just an outing - it’s a pathway to connection, independence, and joy. Through activities like this, our clients gain confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging. Community access also builds practical skills and in this trip, it’s the skill of navigating transport and exploring new places. These little steps support independence and give our clients the freedom to live life on their terms.
